Half Past Two

ive only had two voice lessons but i already feel much better! my instructor is really nice and 100% committed to helping me with my vocal issues. its totally refreshing :)

yesterday i spent the whole day sitting at scripps in san diego with greg and cooper. they went surfing and i sat on the beach writing lyrics. the sand was warm and even though the sun was popping in and out all day, it never felt very cold. the water wasn't so bad either. i think i need to spend more time alone, it helps me write.

i also found that being inspired by one song helps me write, too. and lately ive really been into female lead bands, go figure. does anyone have any music that you like that fits that mold? here are some songs that i really liked yesterday.
