NERD LIST 2009!!!!

There are two things that nerds are good at in this world:
1) Seeing the world as completely black or white (ex: Vampire Diaries/True Blood/Twilight/anythinginvolvingvampiresmadesrecentlythatdidn'tcomeoutofsweden - Sucks, Dr. Who - Awesome)
2) Making useless lists that no one (obviously excluding the person writing said list) cares about.

i believe you missed this one band that put out their first full length album early in the year (around march) and i was not able to go to the release party where they debuted my all time favorite cover which happens to be of one of my all time favorite songs, jon bon jovis' living on a prayer. i dont know maybe it is just me and my super-fan-ness.

Amanda: I really like the idea behind 'Fluent' (a sort of genre mish-mash), but I feel like they haven't quite honed in on the best parts of all the genres they're trying to absorb. The result is an album that is kind of boring and forgettable (I really do look forward to their next album, I think it will be a step-up).

Jake: Sorry man, not ringing any bells...
