These Friday gigs seriously need to stop. I still haven't had a chance to watch this week's Battlestar Galactica episode. Priorities, people, priorities.

To all you Inhuman Humanists, from your King
I'm expanding my Empire, as false as it may be
the stars are my playground and their kings will fall at the sound of my voice
barely a whisper
becomes
the scream that echoes to the ends of the universe
We will not be denied our destiny
Born of the mists, and risking insanity
We replace our humanity
We rise the warriors we are
Conquer and condense our kingdoms
I am the coherent whole, inhuman in the greatest sense
for who really wants to be human anyways?

This guy is delusional

Halo Studio lead producer Jason Pace has told VideoGamer.com that Microsoft sees the Halo franchise as its Star Wars, and hopes it will become just as prevalent in pop culture as the George Lucas conceived phenomenon.
"We as a studio view Halo as our Star Wars," Pace told VideoGamer.com at a recent London press event. "We want it to become that culturally pervasive."
He added: "Our vision for what the franchise can be extends far beyond just first-person shooters that are appealing to a certain kind of audience. This is a vast universe, it extends back thousands and thousands of years, it's huge, many different worlds, races that we haven't even met yet. And so we view the future of the franchise in the same way that we would view any cross-cultural entertainment franchise property, which is we hope to tell many different stories in many different ways, capture the hearts and minds of new generations as we go forward. So absolutely we are committed to this franchise."
Asked if he believes the Halo franchise can ever be as popular as Star Wars, Pace noted: "Depending on how you measure it we have a very good shot. If you look at how the franchise has grown, and just the number of people who are aware of it, we're certainly comparable to the major cultural touchstones, or at least well on our way.

moving. grooving.
oh boy! so my boyfriend and i are going to be moving and right when we thought that we had it all figured out, it got increasingly difficult!
our friend that was moving in with us got laid off (grrrr... economy...) and hes afraid to sign the lease. but we need him if we are going to get this place!! ive been scowering craigslist for potential roomies, and so far no one will commit. what a bust.
greg and i looked at another studio type of apartment today and OMG... it is the CUTEST place ive ever seen. so cheap, so private, SO CUTE!! it even had RED counter tops in the kitchen *swoon* it charmed the pants off of me (but not literally, that would have been awkward)!
on a more band related note, im really excited for this weekend's shows! they both sound like they're going to be a lot of fun, so i hope to see some of my beautiful friends there!
ill be sure to update when i figure out where im going to live. for now, we're homeless!!
one day, ill be this sickeningly QT!!
